Below is information on how to cancel your subscription. Please be aware that once you cancel, you have unlimited access to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's content until the end of your billing period. After your billing period expires, you will have access to a limited number of free articles before you must subscribe to get full access.
If you are billed by the AJC: how to cancel
- Go to ajc.com/myaccount and sign in.
- Select the Manage from the dropdown menu and then click Cancel.
- Follow the prompts to confirm your cancellation.
- Take note of your subscription end date so that you know when your access expires.
- You can access the AJC until your subscription ends at the end of your billing period.
If you are billed by Apple or Google: how to cancel
If you have an in-app subscription billed by Apple or Google, you can cancel in two ways: either from your device’s subscription settings or from the account section of the AJC News app. Follow these steps to cancel.
AJC News app settings
- Tap on Account.
- Tap Manage Subscription.
- Tap Cancel Subscription that appears at the bottom of the screen.
- You may be prompted to select a reason for canceling.
- After canceling your subscription, you will be sent back to the subscription management screen.
- Your subscription will show confirmation that the subscription is cancelled.
- You can access the AJC until your subscription expires at the end of your billing period.
- Deleting or uninstalling the mobile app does not automatically cancel your subscription.
Apple device settings
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings.
- Tap your name at the top (this opens your Apple ID settings).
- Tap Subscriptions (if prompted, log in with your Apple ID).
- Tap AJC News in your list of subscriptions and then tap Cancel Subscription.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm cancellation.
- If you don’t see “Cancel Subscription” it may already be canceled but still active until the expiration date.
- You should get an email from Apple confirming your cancellation. You can access the AJC until your subscription expires at the end of your billing period.
Google device settings
- On the Android phone or tablet, open the Play Store app.
- At the top right, tap your profile icon.
- Choose Payments & Subscriptions and then Subscriptions.
- Choose AJC News in your list of subscriptions and then tap Cancel subscription.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm cancellation.
- You should get an email from Google Play confirming your cancellation. You can access the AJC until your subscription expires at the end of your billing period.

If an agent is unavailable, a web form will be presented to submit your request. Please include your account information before submitting the request.
